BEHIND THE LENS

I received my first film camera around the age of ten.  I would practice on my dog, our family cows, goats or whatever animal we had at the time.  My after high school plan consisted of majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine with a minor in Photography.

In 2004, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Murray State University.  In 2006, I graduated with a Master of Science from Murray State University.  My love of photography grew as my subjects became people with love and emotion.  I knew I did not want to officially name my business after myself because my name tends to be hard to pronounce.  The name “Bailey” came from my precious Border Collie and “B” came from my parents Border Collie, both of whom I adored.  From here, Bailey & B was born.  

I have worked with clients from coast to coast and traveled internationally for my job.  My work has been nationally featured in several publications, including Senior Style Guide, Senior Year Magazine,  Senior Inspire, and Wedding Book Kentucky.

When I am not behind the camera, I love to spend time with my husband, Blake, my son, Beckett, our newly adopted daughter, Baylor and our spunky Corgi, Poppy.  There are few things I enjoy more than being at the lake with family and friends or watching the Kentucky Wildcats and Saint Louis Cardinals!  I am a recovering caffeine addict and true crime junkie.

I cannot wait to get to know YOU better!

Hello, I am Lorie Turner and took over as office manager at Bailey & B in November 2020 after working in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years.  I cannot seem to retire for some reason.  I have known Shawna for many years and she was even my daughter's cheer coach in high school.  I worked next door to her old studio for a number of years. 
  
I am married to my very best friend, James and we love to travel and spend time outdoors.  I love to take pictures, but mine are nature and animals not people! We have one daughter, Dakota who is married to Isaac. From time to time you'll see Dakota greeting you at the door, handing out pictures or helping at team picture day.  We love spending time and playing with our grandchildren, Brooks and Bostyn

Hi, my name is Jenna Moore! I am a public relations major and political science minor at Murray State University. I joined the B+B team in 2021. At Bailey and B Photography, I run the social media and do the hair and makeup for senior influencers. I have been doing makeup for over six years now. I have done weddings, proms, pageants, and of course senior pictures :)!

When I am not working and going to school, you can find me binge watching The Office; hanging out with my friends and family; participating in my sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha; or playing with my sister’s dogs! I enjoy travelling, doing makeup, making Tik Toks (haha), and having karaoke sessions in my car!
